West Bengal Public Service Commission (WBPSC) has published an employment notification for the recruitment of 411 Assistant Professor Posts.

Number of Vacancies : 411 Posts
Pay scale: Rs. 15600-39100/- + grade pay Rs. 6000/- per month.
Age Limit: Candidate’s age should be less than 37 years as on 1st January 2015 and age relaxation would be applicable to all reserved category candidates.
Eligibility Criteria: candidates must have good academic record along with 55% marks or its equivalent qualification and candidates must have qualified in any one of these exams SLET/ NET/ SET.
Application Fees: all general and OBC categories candidates have to pay application fee of Rs. 210/- + service charge 1% of examination fee subject to a minimum of Rs.5/- through debit/credit card along with service charge and no application fee for SC/ST candidates.
